- We started from Mumbai by Duranto Express which starts from Mumbai at 8.00 p.m. and reached Nagpur at 7.00 a.m.
- Journey from Nagpur to Tadoba was by car which took approx 3 hrs. Distance from Nagpur to Tadoba is 175 Kms.
- We Checked in at Tadoba MTDC resort.
- After a little break and lunch we headed to the main gate for Safari. Safari starts at 6.00 in the morning and 3.00 in the evening.
- Teliya Lake , Jamunjudi, Tadoba Lake among other places are the best places to spot the tigers.
- We were lucky to get the leopard sighting at a very close range , the leopard was stalking to hunt a sambar deer.
- The other animals we spotted includes Barking Deer, Sambhar, Neel Gai, Spotted Deer, jungle fowl, purple fowl etc.
- The list of birds we spotted at Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve includes :
Blue Tailed Green Bee eaters
Collard Dove
Golden Oriole
Tree Pie
Indian Roller
APFC
Stork beaked Kingfisher
Thick Knee.
- The last day of our three day being a Holi , the safari in core areas was not allowed. We woke up early in the morning at 5.00 am and decided to do a safari of Buffer area.. The buffer area safari , we witnessed the Jungle from the close and our guides and driver made the safari more memorable...
- Returne to Pune by Nagpur Express which starts from Nagpur at 6.30 pm and reaches Pune at 8.00 a.m.
