Underwater Temple at Palasdeo ( Palasnath Temple)

The temple belongs to lord Palasnath, the temple is about one thousand years old.. The temple is now submerged under the backwaters of Ujani dam. Extremely lucky to visit here in time. The locals informed that the temple is become accessible after eleven years due to no rains.

Yes. Been there yesterday. The temple accessible from Kalewadi. From Palasdeo the other small temple is accessible. If you go to Palasdeo you will need to catch a boat to reach to temple.
Nice blog. Thank you.

Only from Kalewadi you can take vehicle till the temple. From Palasdeo you can go to the other small temple situated on plateau. We saw another temple submerged under water. Seems it's a group of monuments rather than one temple. Sadly ASI is not bothered about it.
There is an inscription in the main temple could not read it properly thought. The pillars are still intact with beautiful carvings.

ASI will not do any thing as this temple was never it,it stands as abandoned structure.
Maharashtra Tourism could introduce diving.
But Maharashtra is the worst state for tourism development.
Maharashtra Tourism Destruction Corporatio(MTDC) is good for nothing.
