Stud Farm is a private property, however the evening walk is allowed. If you are crazy about the horses then 30 mins walk round the farm is worth it.

Underwater Temple at Palasdeo ( Palasnath Temple)

The temple belongs to lord Palasnath, the temple is about one thousand years old.. The temple is now submerged under the backwaters of Ujani dam. Extremely lucky to visit here in time. The locals informed that the temple is become accessible after eleven years due to no rains. Route Details Pune (0) Hadapsar( 7kms) Take Pune-Solapur Highway (1km) - Bhigwan ( 95 Kms) Palasdeo village (15 Kms) Palasdeo village is on left hand side touching the National Highway.. You can see the welcome arc touching the highway, enter the arc and drive two kms to the river through Palasdeo village.. catch a boat to temple ( takes about 10 minutes to cross the river). Friendly boatman charges Rs. 20/- per person. Warm welcome and temple stories FREE. One way distance from Pune is approx. 125 kms. Me and wife decided to visit Narsobachiwadi, after coming across a reference in series "Rashichakra" by Shri. Sharad Upadhye. We started our drive from Pune at 7.00 am and reached Narsobachiwadi at around 11.30 am. Temple on Banks of River at Narsobachiwadi Situated at the confluence of river Krishna and Panchganga , Narsobawadi is a small village located about 260 Kms from Pune and about 40 Kms from Kolhapur. Ancient Temple of Lord Changa Vateshwar

An ancient temple Changa Vateshwar Temple is located at the foothills of Purandar fort in the village of Narayanpur near Saswad on the outskirts of Pune. The temple, is in Hemadpanti style, has inscriptions on its wall which preach teachings of Changdev Maharaj. Birding at Bhigwan... Flamingo special....

Flamingos at Bhigwan.. Bhigwan is a small town located on Pune Solapur Highway. Bhigwan is about 100 kms from Pune. Bhigwan can be reached by car or Public transport. Bhigwan is about 2 ½ hours drive from Pune. Flamingo , Beauty by the river.. Travellers from Mumbai can take Siddeshwar Express and get down at Bhigwan Railway Station which reaches Bhigwan at 5.00 a.m. Those who wish to stay overnight can stay in Bhigwan. Bachelor accomodation of two rooms is also available at Kumbhargaon at Local fisherman and Birding guide Sandeep Nagare House. Once in Bhigwan, Diksal and Kumbhargaon are two main spots for spotting birds. Kumbhargaon is small countryside village 3 kms ahead of Bhigwan, Kumbhargaon is located on backwaters of Ujani dam.
